Eoghan McKernan
Operations Manager
As Operations Manager, Eoghan manages the day to day INFANT Centre Operations and supports the function and meetings of INFANT’s Executive Management Team and Strategic Advisory Board. Eoghan supports INFANT researchers in pre-award management of research grants, including support in preparing grant applications to both exchequer and non-exchequer funding programmes. Post award, Eoghan supports researchers in all aspects of research agreements, including Grant Agreements, Clinical Trial Agreements, Collaboration Agreements, Material Transfer Agreements, and Confidentiality Disclosure Agreements, as well as reports to funding agencies.
Since 2001, Eoghan has worked with large institutions including University College Cork, Trócaire, and the United Nations Development programme where he has developed extensive research and project management experience. He has 15 years’ experience in Eastern and Southern Africa working, researching and supporting research in health and human development, and has a leading role in INFANT’s Global Health Programme.
