Melissa is a post doctoral researcher within the INFANT Centre under the direction of Dr. Ali Khashan. She is currently working on the COVICAT project that explores the effects of COVID-19 vaccination and infection in pregnancy.

Her research background is in psychology and health risk communication and her PhD explored public awareness and risk perception of endocrine disrupting chemicals.
