Sabrina Ziefer

Sabrina joined INFANT in 2024 as a Data Analyst. She’s working on the ELEVATE project and does all things data analysis. She’s managing various studies in INFANT’s data capture tool RedCap and is focused on facilitating efficient data collection. She’s also implementing machine learning algorithms on existing data in order to predict cerebral palsy in new-born babies.

Before she worked in INFANT, she studied Psychology and Computer Science in UCC where she discovered her passion for programming. After graduating in 2022 she worked as a Business Systems Analyst for Poppulo. In 2023 she decided to pursue her passion by getting a masters degree in artificial intelligence. Within that degree, she focused her research on machine learning algorithms in the medical field, implementing an algorithm to predict the spreading of cancer cells based on tumor histology.
